It was in 1992 that I purchased my first computer that had a modem. Using
that IBM machine, I became a subscriber to the Prodigy Network. It wasn't long before I discovered that there was an Arts
bulletin board... and that a number of people were exchanging messages about caricaturing.
When a woman out West asked a question about caricaturing methods, I jumped
in... a conversation developed and one thing led to another. By the end of the year a small group of us were mailing our drawings
to each other via Snail Mail, and the beginnings of a long-running caricature swap had been established.
We called ourselves the SNICKERS BUNCH and over the years we've had a great deal of fun. Although some people
joined up, participated for a time, and then left the group, we kept the SNICKERS Bunch going for ten years. We made
40 swaps of drawings in all...
